We begin our journey to the magical Sahyadris at 1:00 PM sharp from Secunderabad Station.
(Have a light lunch before you come – we don’t want any hangry hikers! 😄)
Our trek captains will kick things off with a super fun ice-breaker session – perfect to make new friends and laugh together.
After that, it’s time to rest up well – big adventures await!
Good morning, explorers!
We reach Nashik and hop into our private vehicle to head straight to the base village.
After a quick freshen-up, it’s time to lace up your shoes and hike up the epic Harihara Fort!
Once at the top, soak in the views and your achievement!
Then we descend and head to our cozy homestay, where warm hospitality and a delicious local dinner await.

Today we hike to the mighty Kalsubai – the highest peak in Maharashtra!
(8 km round trip – and totally worth it!)
After reaching the top and high-fiving the clouds, we descend back to the base.
Next, we drive to the base village of our third and final peak.
Another peaceful homestay, another amazing local dinner, and a well-earned rest.

Wake up early and set out to hike Rathangad – the jewel of the Sahyadris!
A short 4-hour hike that packs a punch with views and vibes.
Celebrate at the summit, then descend, pack up, and get ready to say goodbye (for now).
We’ll head back to the station and board our train to Hyderabad – tired, happy, and full of stories.
We reach Hyderabad in the morning.

yes, you certainly can join. We often get many solo trekker/traveler on our trips and definitely you will find some likeminded people on the trip. Our objective is that we complete the trek/travel as a team. So, we always motivate people to come together and help each other.
We make a WhatsApp group of all the participants, besides, two days before the event and share all the necessary details in it.
Usually, An heads-up email with trip details such as things to carry, contact details of Trek Leaders, meeting details and the Do’s & don’ts will be communicated via both Email/WhatsApp within 3 days prior to the trip.
No, Smoking and drinking are strictly prohibited.

Also, we have shared the itinerary in a form of a virtual trek/trip which would give you basic idea of the difficulty level of the trek/trip, which will help you in decision making.

Yes, We always make sure that we take proper precaution in regards of girl’s safety. We have female Trek/Trip Captains who have explored every trek/trip, Offbeat Compass has, in regards of the facilities, sanity and safety of a female trekkers/travelers.
Depending on the availability- Dormitories: Ideally a big room where people sleep in sleeping bags/Blankets (Mats are provided) . There will be separate rooms for girls and guys.
Washrooms: Yes, Available at Home Stay. Please note: it’s a place in the middle of nowhere, so during the trek, NO restrooms are accessible (one has to be dependent on natural resources).
