DAY 0Meet & Greet Day

  • We will start ourΒ  journey to base city by Train Sleeper at 7:00 PM from Kachiguda Station
  • Our trip captains will keep you engaged with a fun ice breaker session, a great way to bond with your fellow trippers.
  • Next up? Good rest required for the adventure awaiting.

DAY 1Exploring Ooty

  • Upon reaching Bangalore/Mysore, Embark on a road trip towards Ooty, also known as the “Queen of Hill Stations“.
  • En route, make a stop at Needle Rock Viewpoint, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and lush greenery.
  • Proceed to the 9th Mile Shooting Point, a popular spot among filmmakers and nature enthusiasts, renowned for its serene ambiance and captivating vistas.
  • Continue your journey towards Ooty, soaking in the charm of the Nilgiri Hills.
  • Arrive at your accommodation and unwind after a day of travel.

DAY 2Exploring Ooty & Coonoor

  • Experience the nostalgic charm of the Nilgiri Mountain Railway by embarking on a scenic toy train ride.
  • Head to the iconic Ooty Lake, a tranquil oasis nestled amidst the verdant hills.Enjoy a leisurely boat ride on the pristine waters of the lake, surrounded by serene landscapes and lush greenery.
  • Proceed to Doddabetta Peak, the highest vantage point in the Nilgiris, offering panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys.Capture breathtaking photographs of the scenic landscapes from the observation tower located at the peak.
  • Visit the Tea Museum to delve into the rich history and culture of tea cultivation in the Nilgiri region.Learn about the various processes involved in tea production, from plucking to processing, and sample some aromatic varieties of locally produced tea.
  • If time permits, We will also visit Rose garden or Botanical gardens.
  • Return to your hotel in Ooty for a comfortable overnight stay, reminiscing about the day’s memorable experiences amidst the tranquil hills.

DAY 3Pykara Falls,Tea Estate Viewpoint, Museum, and Tea Factory and Return Journey to Mysuru/Bangalore

  • Wake up early to make the most of your final day in Ooty. Pack up your belongings and check out from your accommodation.
  • Begin your day with a visit to Pykara Falls, a scenic cascade nestled amidst the lush greenery of the Nilgiris.Take a leisurely stroll along the well-marked pathways leading to the falls and immerse yourself in the serenity of the surroundings
  • Explore a tea estate viewpoint offering panoramic vistas of the sprawling tea plantations carpeting the hillsides.
  • Visit a tea museum to gain insights into the history, cultivation, and processing of tea in the region.Embark on a guided tour of a tea factory to witness the intricate process of tea production, from plucking to packaging.
  • Enjoy a leisurely lunch en route to Mysuru/Bangalore, savoring the flavors of local cuisine at a recommended restaurant.

DAY 4Reach Hyderabad with great memories

Reach Hyderabad, Head back to ground zero with loads of memories & many new friends. You can go back to your routine on the same day.

Cancellation Policy

  • No cancellations will be taken over call or whatsApp msg. Please reply in email with payment receipt that you have received at the time of booking.
  • No Show . No refund.
  • If remaining payment is not received 7 days beforeΒ  the event start date, Your slot is assumed to be cancelled.Β 
  • Incase of government orders, harsh weather conditions , protests , landslides or any other unforeseenΒ circumstances , we work out the best possible alternate plans or trips/treks. At times even certain activities are cancelled , the organisation provides the best alternate but no refunds are provided.
  • If a trek is called off at the last moment due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh etc.), Offbeat Compass will issue a trek voucher for the full amount and if possible will provide an alternate trek. The voucher can be redeemed upto same amount for the same trek or another trek in the next 365 days from the trek departure date.
  • If a trek or trip cannot be completed due to natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh etc.). No refund would be provided.
  • Any extra expense coming due to any natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, Train Cancellations etc.), Will be born by customer. Offbeat Compass will not be liable.

TRANSPORTATION BOOKING CLAUSE

    • Please book your slots for the event at least 45 days before the start date to have a peaceful journey in Train without Waitlist or RAC travel
    • This is important because railway tickets may not be available closer to the event date, and booking at the last minute may result in additional costs for Tatkal tickets. To avoid these issues and ensure your participation in the event, please book your slots well in advance.

    We understand paying in full and planning in advance might be an issue for you, So we have eased out the process by allowing you to pay only β‚Ή 1000 for reserving your slot and helping us to reserve and secure your train journey travel tickets. You can pay the remaining amount 7 days before the event start date.Β

  • Initial Payment is NON transferable and NON Refundable
  • If you cancel your trip 7 days before the event start date – Trek Voucher worth 80% of the Remaining Payment Component would be given.
  • If you cancel your trip Between 7 to 3 days of the event Start date – Trek Voucher worth 50% of the Remaining Payment Component would be given.
  • If you cancel your trip Between 2 days to 0 days – No Voucher or refund would be given.

I am solo traveller,Can i join?

yes, you certainly can join. We often get many solo trekker/traveler on our trips and definitely you will find some likeminded people on the trip. Our objective is that we complete the trek/travel as a team. So, we always motivate people to come together and help each other.

How and when will your team coordinate with me?

We make a WhatsApp group of all the participants, besides, two days before the event and share all the necessary details in it.

When will I get trip/trek details?

Usually, An heads-up email with trip details such as things to carry, contact details of Trek Leaders, meeting details and the Do’s & don’ts will be communicated via both Email/WhatsApp within 3 days prior to the trip.

Are smoking and drinking allowed?

No, Smoking and drinking are strictly prohibited.

I am first time trekker/traveler,Will the Trek/Travel be Difficult for Me?

We always believe in exploring our limits. Every Trek/Trip organized by Offbeat Compass would have Trek/Trip Captains, who would help you motivate you in difficult times on the trek/trip. Also, we have shared the itinerary in a form of a virtual trek/trip which would give you basic idea of the difficulty level of the trek/trip, which will help you in decision making.

Yes, We always make sure that we take proper precaution in regards of girl’s safety. We have female Trek/Trip Captains who have explored every trek/trip, Offbeat Compass has, in regards of the facilities, sanity and safety of a female trekkers/travelers.
