We begin our journey from Kochi then move to Munnar, a place adorned with emerald tea gardens,

ITINERARY (Kochi- Kochi)

DAY 01ARRIVAL IN COCHIN. TRANSFER TO MUNNAR

On arrival at Cochin Airport or Ernakulum Railway Station, proceed for a half day sightseeing of Cochin, covering places of interest, including Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jews Street, St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing Net and Indo-Portuguese Museum and later drive to Munnar. En route enjoy beautiful streams, small waterfalls, rubber, pepper, cardamom and tea plantations and thick forests. On arrival at Munnar, check into hotel for overnight stay

DAY 02LOCAL SIGHTSEEING IN MUNNAR.

In the morning, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Munnar covering Mattuppetty Lake & Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Blossom Garden, Rajamalai and Eravikulam Wildlife Sanctuary famous for the Nilgiri Thar and tea gardens. Return to hotel in the evening for Overnight stay.

Day 03MUNNAR TO THEKKADY. ENJOY A CULTURAL SHOW

After breakfast, depart for Thekkady by road (Approx.: 124 kms/ 3 hrs.). En route visit the panoramic Western Ghat hills covered with spice plantations and an occasional view of waterfalls and streams, several types of spice plantations like cardamom, vanilla, pepper, cinnamon and clove. On arrival at Thekkady, check into hotel. Later proceed for boating on the Periyar Lake (optional) and experience a view of calm crystal clear Periyar Lake and sanctuary. Watch different wild animals while boating. Stay overnight at Periyar.

DAY 04THEKKADY TO ALLEPPEY. ENJOY THE SERENE BACKWATERS.

After breakfast, depart for Alleppey by road (Approx.: 155 kms /4 hrs.). On arrival, check into houseboat and spend the day at leisure. Houseboat cruise is the best way to explore the beauty of backwaters. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Enjoy lunch, evening
tea/coffee /coffee with snacks and dinner on it. Stay overnight in houseboat.

Day 5KOVALAM

After breakfast proceeds to Trivandrum for sightseeing. Trivandrum is an ancient city with tradition dating back to 1000 BC. Visit Srichitra Art Gallery, Napier Museum and Zoo. Overnight stay in Kovalam. Evening back to Kovalam and enjoy Beach. Overnight stay in Kovalam.

DAY 05TRIVENDRUM DEPARTURE

Have your breakfast at the hotel and get ready to board your return transfers to
Cochin.
• Your tour concludes once you are dropped off at Cochin Airport/ Railway Station
for your onward journey. (Your departure flight/ train should be after 1 pm).
• Depart with a bag of happy memories

Any additional cost incurred due to changes in Government Guidelines related to travel/trek/COVID-19 will be borne by the travellers
Anything not mentioned explicitly in the above program.

Cancellation Policy

No cancellations will be taken over call or whatsApp msg. Please reply in email with payment receipt that you have received at the time of booking.
No Show . No refund.
If remaining payment is not received 7 days before the event start date, Your slot is assumed to be cancelled.
Incase of government orders, harsh weather conditions , protests , landslides or any other unforeseen circumstances , we work out the best possible alternate plans or trips/treks. At times even certain activities are cancelled , the organisation provides the best alternate but no refunds are provided.
If a trek is called off at the last moment due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh etc.), Offbeat Compass will issue a trek voucher for the full amount and if possible will provide an alternate trek. The voucher can be redeemed upto same amount for the same trek or another trek in the next 365 days from the trek departure date.
If a trek or trip cannot be completed due to natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh etc.). No refund would be provided.
Any extra expense coming due to any natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, Train Cancellations etc.), Will be beared by customer. Offbeat Compass will not be liable.

30 days or more prior to the departure date: 90% of the total package fee refundable
Between 21-30 days prior to the departure date: 60% of the total package fee refundable
Between 20-11 days prior to the departure date: 30% of the total package fee refundable
Less than 10 days prior to the departure date: No refund
No show: No refund
No refund will be made if a participant is unable to complete the tour/trek/adventure activity owing to medical conditions or any other reasons, after starting the tour/trek/adventure activity
