DAY 01SRINAGAR: WELCOME TO THE HEAVENLY KASHMIR | LOCAL SIGHTSEEING OF SRINAGAR

Land to a warm welcome in Kashmir and experience the magical Shikara rides and overnight stay at the houseboats in Dal Lake.

Arrive in Srinagar by 12:00 and Meet our Trip Captain at Srinagar airport, transfer to Home stay. Afternoon, leave for local sightseeing of Srinagar City. Visit: – Mughal gardens: – Chesma Shahi (Mughal Spring), Nishat (The Garden of Bliss), Shalimar (The Abode of Love).
Come back to the home stay and in the evening go for a shikara ride for 1 hour and Explore floating market for shopping.
Later come back to the Homestay, Enjoy your dinner and overnight stay in Srinagar

DAY 02SRINAGAR TO GULMARG - GONDOLA RIDE - STAY AT SRINAGAR (Approx 58 Kms/02 Hours Drive)

Post breakfast, we get ready to visit Gulmarg, the meadow of flowers & India’s most popular winter and skiing destination along most beautiful routes of Valley.
Reach gulmarg and visit Aarwat Peak and enjoy Gondola Ride which is world’s highest and the Asia’s longest cable car (At Your Own Cost)
In the evening return back to our hotel in Srinagar.

DAY 03SRINAGAR TO PAHALGAM - LOCAL SIGHTSEEING - STAY AT SRINAGAR (Approx 98 Kms/03 Hours Drive)

Post Breakfast you will be transferred to Pahalgham the ‘valley of shepherds’ situated at the confluence of the streams flowing from river Lidder and Sheeshnag Lake.
En route visit the Awantipura ruins, an 1100 year old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
Aru Valley is noted for its scenic meadows lakes and mountains,it is a base camp for trekking to the Kolhai Glacier and Tansar Lake.
Visit Aru Valley, Betaab Valley and Chandanwari as well as take a horse riding trip to Baisaran meadows (At your own cost).
Overnight stay at Hotel/Houseboat in Srinagar

Day 04SRINAGAR - SONMARG DAY EXCURSION - STAY AT SRINAGAR (Approx 90 Kms /03 Hours Drive)

A full day excursion to the picturesque ‘meadow of gold’ Sonamarg.
From here starts the territory of ladhakh. Situated at an altitude of 2743m above sea level.
You can opt for a pony ride to one of the glaciers for some fun in snow and ice (by your own payment).
Return back to Srinagar for overnight stay Hotel/Houseboat.

DAY 05SRINAGAR: IT'S TIME TO SAY GOODBYE TO THE PARADISE ON EARTH

Head back with beautiful memories of your Kashmir tour.

Have breakfast at your hotel in Srinagar. After check-out, you will be transferred to the Srinagar Airport for your return flight.
Fly back to your destination with some amazing memories of Heaven on Earth.
Due to strict security, you are requested to leave for the airport at least 3 hours before the departure time. You will have to pass 4 security barriers before reaching the airport. This often leads to long traffic jams right outside the airport.

If in case there is heavy snow fall, we need to take an extra vehicle from Tanmarg to Gulmarg. This vehicle is not included and price will be shared equally among all participants
In case your trip remains incomplete or uninitiated because of "force majeure" or due to personal reasons after you arrive at the starting point, you will not be able to get a refund, reschedule or replace any services that remain unutilized by you.
Any additional cost incurred due to changes in Government Guidelines related to travel/trek/COVID-19 will be borne by the travellers

Additional Costs due to Flight Cancellations, Landslides, Roadblocks, and other natural calamities.
Trip to Betaab Valley, Aru Valley, and Chandanwari Valley in Pahalgam (done by Union Taxi and paid for directly).
If the route is obstructed due to severe snowfall, a snow jeep will be stationed in Tangmarg; otherwise, the vehicle will proceed directly to Gulmarg.

Cancellation Policy

No cancellations will be taken over call or whatsApp msg. Please reply in email with payment receipt that you have received at the time of booking.
No Show . No refund.
If remaining payment is not received 7 days before the event start date, Your slot is assumed to be cancelled.
Incase of government orders, harsh weather conditions , protests , landslides or any other unforeseen circumstances , we work out the best possible alternate plans or trips/treks. At times even certain activities are cancelled , the organisation provides the best alternate but no refunds are provided.
If a trek is called off at the last moment due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh etc.), Offbeat Compass will issue a trek voucher for the full amount and if possible will provide an alternate trek. The voucher can be redeemed upto same amount for the same trek or another trek in the next 365 days from the trek departure date.
If a trek or trip cannot be completed due to natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh etc.). No refund would be provided.
Any extra expense coming due to any natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, Train Cancellations etc.), Will be beared by customer. Offbeat Compass will not be liable.

REFUND POLICY

30 days or more prior to the departure date: 90% of the total package fee refundable
Between 21-30 days prior to the departure date: 60% of the total package fee refundable
Between 20-11 days prior to the departure date: 30% of the total package fee refundable
Less than 10 days prior to the departure date: No refund
No show: No refund
No refund will be made if a participant is unable to complete the tour/trek/adventure activity owing to medical conditions or any other reasons, after starting the tour/trek/adventure activity

Kashmir can be visited any time of the year except the monsoon season. It offers different experiences throughout the year. In summers you can witness lush green valleys, and snow during winters.

What are the things to keep in mind regarding the stay on the house boat?

You can expect frequent power cuts on the houseboats. Also, the housekeeping is not available at all hours. Since the food as to be brought from outside, timings of all meals are also fixed to prevent the food from getting cold.

Are Gondola ride charges included in this trip?

No, the Gondola ride charges are not included in this trip.
