Gokarna is a hidden gem located on the coast of India, known for its breathtaking scenery, rich cultural heritage, and breathtaking beaches. Whether you’re a seasoned traveler or just looking for a change of scenery, this is the perfect opportunity to explore a new destination and create memories that will last a lifetime.

This Backpacking offers a unique experience that combines the thrill of adventure with the comfort of familiar company. As we journey through Gokarna, we will have the chance to immerse ourselves in the local culture, sample delicious cuisine, and take in the breathtaking scenery. We will also have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities, from hiking and swimming to exploring temples and markets.

To ensure that everyone has a comfortable and enjoyable experience, We would like to emphasize the importance of being prepared for the trip and Choosing your Travel Company. Itinerary

INCLUSIONS

  • Hubli to Hubli in pre-hired vehicle.

Day 0Journey to Coastal Karnataka Begins

  • We will start our  journey to Hubli By bus Volvo Semi-Sleeper 21.00 Hrs
  • The journey which will be full-filled by many travel stories and introduction of your fellow trek mates.

NOTE :

  1. Bus fares are dynamic, If you book in the last minute need to pay extra.
  2. If you want to travel on budget, You can opt for Train option but, Reserve your slots in advance at least 20 Days before the departure dates.

Day 1Reach Hubli & Start to Gokarna

  • Reach Hubli and start to Vibhuthi waterfalls after a quick breakfast break.
  • There is a hike in thick jungle for about 500 metres to reach the waterfalls. 
  • Later post Lunch,visit Muresdeshwar Temple & Mangrove Broadway walk and Go for Boating at Honnarvar Backwaters.
  • Have dinner and head back to our stay. 

Day 2Beach Hike

  • Wake up early and head to beach hike. 
  • This is a beautiful trail which covers 5 beaches of the region which are in confluence with mountains. 
  • Have breakfast and Start back to Hubli to catch our bus back to Hyderabad. 

Reach Hyderabad in the morning with amazing memories

  • Trip ends today, sadly. We will reach Hyderabad with beautiful memories and friendships.

Cancellation Policy

  • No cancellations will be taken over call or whatsApp msg. Please reply in email with payment receipt that you have received at the time of booking.
  • No Show . No refund.
  • If remaining payment is not received 7 days before  the event start date, Your slot is assumed to be cancelled. 
  • Incase of government orders, harsh weather conditions , protests , landslides or any other unforeseen circumstances , we work out the best possible alternate plans or trips/treks. At times even certain activities are cancelled , the organisation provides the best alternate but no refunds are provided.
  • If a trek is called off at the last moment due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh etc.), Offbeat Compass will issue a trek voucher for the full amount and if possible will provide an alternate trek. The voucher can be redeemed upto same amount for the same trek or another trek in the next 365 days from the trek departure date.
  • If a trek or trip cannot be completed due to natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh etc.). No refund would be provided.
  • Any extra expense coming due to any natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, Train Cancellations etc.), Will be born by customer. Offbeat Compass will not be liable.

TRANSPORTATION BOOKING CLAUSE

  • Please book your slots for the event at least 45 days before the start date to have a peaceful journey in Train without Waitlist or RAC travel
  • This is important because railway tickets may not be available closer to the event date, and booking at the last minute may result in additional costs for Tatkal tickets. To avoid these issues and ensure your participation in the event, please book your slots well in advance.

We understand paying in full and planning in advance might be an issue for you, So we have eased out the process by allowing you to pay only ₹ 1000 for reserving your slot and helping us to reserve and secure your train journey travel tickets. You can pay the remaining amount 7 days before the event start date. 

 

REFUND POLICY

  • Initial Payment is NON transferable and NON Refundable
  • If you cancel your trip 7 days before the event start date – Trek Voucher worth 80% of the Remaining Payment Component would be given.
  • If you cancel your trip Between 7 to 3 days of the event Start date – Trek Voucher worth 50% of the Remaining Payment Component would be given.
  • If you cancel your trip Between 2 days to 0 days – No Voucher or refund would be given.
  • All cancellations should be notified only VIA email to regadi@offbeatcompass.com
  • Refunds if any, would be settled on Wednesday, post-event date.

FAQS

I am solo traveller,Can i join?

yes, you certainly can join. We often get many solo travelers on our trips and definitely you will find some likeminded people on the trip. Our objective is that we complete the trek/travel as a team. So, we always motivate people to come together and help each other.

How and when will your team coordinate with me?

We make a WhatsApp group of all the participants, besides, two days before the event and share all the necessary details in it.

When will I get trip/trek details?

Usually, An heads-up email with trip details such as things to carry, contact details of Trek Leaders, meeting details and the Do’s & don’ts will be communicated via both Email/WhatsApp within 3 days prior to the trip.

Are smoking and drinking allowed?

No, Smoking and drinking are strictly prohibited.

I am first time trekker/traveler,Will the Trek/Travel be Difficult for Me?

We always believe in exploring our limits. Every Trek/Trip organized by Offbeat Compass would have Trek/Trip Captains, who would help you motivate you in difficult times on the trek/trip. Also, we have shared the itinerary in a form of a virtual trek/trip which would give you basic idea of the difficulty level of the trek/trip, which will help you in decision making.

I am Women/Girl.Is the Trek/Trip safe for Me?

Yes, We always make sure that we take proper precaution in regards of girl’s safety. We have female Trek/Trip Captains who have explored every trek/trip, Offbeat Compass has, in regards of the facilities, sanity and safety of a female trekkers/travelers.

  • 5 to 17 Members 
  • We require a minimum of 5 participant to confirm the event 
  • If in case, we fail to obtain the required minimum number of participants. We would initiate full refund or transfer to another event for the same departure date. (Option of transfer shall be subject to payment/refund of balance amount if any)
