The place which is familiar as party capital of Indian East coast with great cuisines and culture needs no great introduction.

This place is blessed with some of the most spectacular beaches of the Coromandel coast. If you are looking for total seclusion far away from the hustle and bustle of cyber cities, Pondicherry is the ideal place for you to head for. Miles of silky soft beaches here will take you to a world of tranquility. The turquoise water of the Bay of Bengal is ideal to take a relaxing dip.

Pondicherry We think, makes us pause to wonder, to find the parts of ourselves we’ve lost while rushing between traffic lights, trapped in glass and steel edifices, chasing the undefined. It helps us hear our thoughts above the din and sometimes, the sound of a voice within.

Itinerary

DAY 0THE NIGHT BEFORE THE BIG DAY!!!

We will start our journey to Chennai by train by 5 PM. (Please have a light dinner. We don’t want you to starve!)
Our trek captains will keep you engaged with a fun ice breaker session, a great way to bond with your fellow trekkers.
Next up? Good rest required for the adventure in waiting.

DAY 01CHENNAI & VISIT TO MAHABALIPURAM AND STROLL IN FRENCH TOWN

Arrive in Chennai by 06.00 am
Transfer in Private-hired vehicle from Chennai to Pondicherry (Have lunch on the way)
Visit Pichavaram for Mangrove Boating
Experience streets of Pondicherry by lights and check into the hotel and have dinner

DAY 02WITNESS SUNRISE,DAY TRIP TO PICHAVARAM & PARADAISE BEACH

Wake up early , Greet your day with a beautiful sunrise at Serinity beach.
We will visit all prominent spots of Pondicherry during the morning hours.
Have breakfast by the beach
Walk in the promenade, have a sip of coffee. Walk and talk with Police of Pondicherry and locals.
Visit monuments like – Mahatma Gandhi Memorial, Aurobindo Ashram, Vinayak Temple, Sacred Heart of Basilica Church. Have Breakfast and Start to Auroville.
Upon reaching Chennai have local food of Chennai and get into train by 5 PM.

DAY 03REACH HYDERABAD AND UNWIND MEMORIES OF PONDI

Reach Hyderabad by 8:00 am. Head back with loads of memories & many new friends. You can go back to your routine on the same day.

Cancellation Policy

No cancellations will be taken over call or whatsApp msg. Please reply in email with payment receipt that you have received at the time of booking.
No Show . No refund.
If remaining payment is not received 7 days before the event start date, Your slot is assumed to be cancelled.
Incase of government orders, harsh weather conditions , protests , landslides or any other unforeseen circumstances , we work out the best possible alternate plans or trips/treks. At times even certain activities are cancelled , the organisation provides the best alternate but no refunds are provided.
If a trek is called off at the last moment due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh etc.), Offbeat Compass will issue a trek voucher for the full amount and if possible will provide an alternate trek. The voucher can be redeemed upto same amount for the same trek or another trek in the next 365 days from the trek departure date.
If a trek or trip cannot be completed due to natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh etc.). No refund would be provided.
Any extra expense coming due to any natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, Train Cancellations etc.), Will be born by customer. Offbeat Compass will not be liable.

REDUND POLICY

Initial Payment is NON transferable and NON Refundable
If you cancel your trip 7 days before the event start date – Trek Voucher worth 80% of the Remaining Payment Component would be given.
If you cancel your trip Between 7 to 3 days of the event Start date – Trek Voucher worth 50% of the Remaining Payment Component would be given.
If you cancel your trip Between 2 days to 0 days – No Voucher or refund would be given.
All cancellations should be notified only VIA email to regadi@offbeatcompass.com
Refunds if any, would be settled on Wednesday, post-event date.

I am solo traveller,Can i join?

yes, you certainly can join. We often get many solo trekker/traveler on our trips and definitely you will find some likeminded people on the trip. Our objective is that we complete the trek/travel as a team. So, we always motivate people to come together and help each other.

How and when will your team coordinate with me?

We make a WhatsApp group of all the participants, besides, two days before the event and share all the necessary details in it.

When will I get trip/trek details?

Usually, An heads-up email with trip details such as things to carry, contact details of Trek Leaders, meeting details and the Do’s & don’ts will be communicated via both Email/WhatsApp within 3 days prior to the trip.

Are smoking and drinking allowed?

No, Smoking and drinking are strictly prohibited.

I am first time trekker/traveler,Will the Trek/Travel be Difficult for Me?

We always believe in exploring our limits. Every Trek/Trip organized by Offbeat Compass would have Trek/Trip Captains, who would help you motivate you in difficult times on the trek/trip. Also, we have shared the itinerary in a form of a virtual trek/trip which would give you basic idea of the difficulty level of the trek/trip, which will help you in decision making.

I am Women/Girl.Is the Trek/Trip safe for Me?

Yes, We always make sure that we take proper precaution in regards of girl’s safety. We have female Trek/Trip Captains who have explored every trek/trip, Offbeat Compass has, in regards of the facilities, sanity and safety of a female trekkers/travelers.

We require a minimum of 5 participant to confirm the event
If in case, we fail to obtain the required minimum number of participants. We would initiate full refund or transfer to another event for the same departure date. (Option of transfer shall be subject to payment/refund of balance amount if any)

Can you tell us about Accommodation?

Depending on the availability- Dormitories Or Home stays on sharing basis.
