The best and ideal time for visiting Kedarnath Dham is from April month when upon the arrival of Akshay Tritiya the entryway of the sanctuary opens. So from April to May and again from September to October and after October when the Bhai Dooj/Dwitiya celebration is on set this is the point at which the entryway of the sanctuary shuts once more. While in the middle of this current month sanctuary stays open yet because of precipitation in June and July because of the avalanche, yatra gets uneasy.
