Itinerary

DAY 0Meet & Greet Day

We will start our journey to base city by AC Semi-Sleeper Bus at 7:00 PM from MGBS
Our trek captains will keep you engaged with a fun ice breaker session, a great way to bond with your fellow trekkers.
Next up? Good rest required for the adventure awaiting.

DAY 1Shimoga to Chikmagalur by private bus

After a drive from Shimoga/Guaribidanur, we will reach our first destination of the Day Hebbe Falls [ your introduction to amazing rolling hills of Western Ghats. this is one of the lengthiest off road jeep rides (Own expense) you take on the journey and it is a worth one. A small hike from parking leads to Hebbe falls. The most romantic waterfalls of the region.
A small hike to Z Point
Head directly to the stay post dinner and rest for the day.

DAY 2Chikmagalur sightseeing & Transit To Coorg

As Wakeup early to the chipping of birds, We freshen up & load our rucksacks into our vehicle.
We visit Hirekolale Lake and head to Coffee plantation Walk.
Later gather our senses and head to Mullayangiri – The highest peak of Karnataka. A hike of 100+ steps leads to the highest point here. The weather here is always unpredictable, thus calling adventure seekers like us to come and experience.
Jhari falls: Jhari wateralls are also known as buttermilk falls. You can get into water here
Head to our stay, for a fun filled last night together.

DAY 3Coorg Sightseeing

Check out very early , we visit the following spots.
- Places Visiting
  - Golden Temple ( 2nd largest Tibetan Monastery in India )
  - Dubare Elephant camp
Around 3 PM, we will head to Mysore to board our Sleeper Train back to Hyderabad

DAY 4Reach Hyderabad with great memories

Reach Hyderabad, Head back to ground zero with loads of memories & many new friends. You can go back to your routine on the same day.

Cancellation Policy

No cancellations will be taken over call or whatsApp msg. Please reply in email with payment receipt that you have received at the time of booking.
No Show . No refund.
If remaining payment is not received 7 days before the event start date, Your slot is assumed to be cancelled.
Incase of government orders, harsh weather conditions , protests , landslides or any other unforeseen circumstances , we work out the best possible alternate plans or trips/treks. At times even certain activities are cancelled , the organisation provides the best alternate but no refunds are provided.
If a trek is called off at the last moment due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh etc.), Offbeat Compass will issue a trek voucher for the full amount and if possible will provide an alternate trek. The voucher can be redeemed upto same amount for the same trek or another trek in the next 365 days from the trek departure date.
If a trek or trip cannot be completed due to natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh etc.). No refund would be provided.
Any extra expense coming due to any natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rain, snowfall, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh, Train Cancellations etc.), Will be born by customer. Offbeat Compass will not be liable.

TRANSPORTATION BOOKING CLAUSE

- Please book your slots for the event at least 45 days before the start date to have a peaceful journey in Train without Waitlist or RAC travel
- This is important because railway tickets may not be available closer to the event date, and booking at the last minute may result in additional costs for Tatkal tickets. To avoid these issues and ensure your participation in the event, please book your slots well in advance.
We understand paying in full and planning in advance might be an issue for you, So we have eased out the process by allowing you to pay only ₹ 1000 for reserving your slot and helping us to reserve and secure your train journey travel tickets. You can pay the remaining amount 7 days before the event start date.

REFUND POLICY

Initial Payment is NON transferable and NON Refundable
If you cancel your trip 7 days before the event start date – Trek Voucher worth 80% of the Remaining Payment Component would be given.
If you cancel your trip Between 7 to 3 days of the event Start date – Trek Voucher worth 50% of the Remaining Payment Component would be given.
If you cancel your trip Between 2 days to 0 days – No Voucher or refund would be given.

I am solo traveller,Can i join?

yes, you certainly can join. We often get many solo trekker/traveler on our trips and definitely you will find some likeminded people on the trip. Our objective is that we complete the trek/travel as a team. So, we always motivate people to come together and help each other.

How and when will your team coordinate with me?

We make a WhatsApp group of all the participants, besides, two days before the event and share all the necessary details in it.

When will I get trip/trek details?

Usually, An heads-up email with trip details such as things to carry, contact details of Trek Leaders, meeting details and the Do’s & don’ts will be communicated via both Email/WhatsApp within 3 days prior to the trip.

Are smoking and drinking allowed?

No, Smoking and drinking are strictly prohibited.

I am first time trekker/traveler,Will the Trek/Travel be Difficult for Me?

We always believe in exploring our limits. Every Trek/Trip organized by Offbeat Compass would have Trek/Trip Captains, who would help you motivate you in difficult times on the trek/trip. Also, we have shared the itinerary in a form of a virtual trek/trip which would give you basic idea of the difficulty level of the trek/trip, which will help you in decision making.

I am Women/Girl.Is the Trek/Trip safe for Me?

Yes, We always make sure that we take proper precaution in regards of girl’s safety. We have female Trek/Trip Captains who have explored every trek/trip, Offbeat Compass has, in regards of the facilities, sanity and safety of a female trekkers/travelers.

We require a minimum of 5 participant to confirm the event
If in case, we fail to obtain the required minimum number of participants. We would initiate full refund or transfer to another event for the same departure date. (Option of transfer shall be subject to payment/refund of balance amount if any)

Can you tell us about Accommodation?

Depending on the availability- Dormitories: Ideally a big room where people sleep in sleeping bags/Blankets (Mats are provided) . There will be separate rooms for girls and guys.

Washrooms: Yes, Available at Home Stay.
